Tim Williams: Trivago Guy Arrested For DUI After Passing Out Behind the Wheel! | Wireler

With his rugged attractiveness and informal demeanor, Tim Williams has gained the hearts of vacationers in the hunt for inexpensive lodging in numerous commercials for Trivago.

Unfortunately, it seems to be like Tim could be a bit too informal in his angle towards consuming grownup drinks and working a motorcar.

TMZ is reporting immediately that Williams was arrested — at three:15 pm!!! — on Wednesday after Houston police discovered him handed out behind the wheel.

Fortunately, Williams’ foot was firmly planted on the brake when he misplaced consciousness.

According to TMZ, Williams was given a subject sobriety check “which he bombed,” and was then taken into custody.

During his time behind bars, Williams submitted to a blood check.

It’s unclear what the outcomes had been or whether or not or not he took a Breathalyzer.

Williams posted bond and was launched after a couple of hours, however in all chance, his authorized complications are simply starting.

As for the way forward for his employment with Trivago — that is still critically unsure:

“At this stage, we do not have the full details of the situation, but we want to make clear that Trivago treats such incidents very seriously and strongly condemns drinking and driving which poses a risk to others and goes against the Trivago culture,” an official assertion from the firm reads.

Setting apart the hilarity of the phrase “goes against the Trivago culture” (and the concept that doing so is as egregious as threatening lives), it is a critical assertion, and it sounds as if Williams is bound to undergo some type of self-discipline, presumably even termination.

Williams has been a working actor since the mid-’90s and his credit embody roles on The Sopranos and in the film Valkyrie.

But it was his position as the Trivago Guy that introduced Williams nationwide consideration.

Far greater than the typical business spokesman, Williams introduced a roguish attraction and surprising intercourse enchantment to his advertisements for the on-line journey firm, and at this level, he is basically the face of the model.

Obviously, Williams’ transgression is a critical one, and he deserves to be punished.

Still, we might be greater than a bit bummed if this had been the finish of the Trivago Guy.
