She had predicted that the film would be successful and stand out because no movie was made before on this subject. In a folksy thriller, you will hear about a remote village that would see light showers 24×7. Now, creating that village and atmosphere of perennial rain is one helluva task for a producer. This is why I guess people do not look for films based on such subjects because of the time and patience they need.”
During the course of the interview, he additionally revealed how Vishal Bharadwaj noticed parts of the film. “That was during the time of Haidar.
