His spouse’s position is being performed by Aditi Dev Sharma. She is a gynecologist by career. “They know each other from college. Kunal is a hard-core romantic. They are very much in love. He is compatible, understanding, supportive and at times, behaves like a baby before his wife. They pamper each other. It is a modern relationship where couples balance work-life,” he elaborates. Shakti additionally spoke up in regards to the hypothesis of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka being inspired by Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. “There are few subjects in romance to tap in. KANK was about extra-marital affairs. It showcased a particular aspect of relationships. This is a daily soap, it will have thousand twists and turns. But the show is not about infidelity. It is about modern relationships. Though it is a fictional story, it is made in a realistic space,” he asserts.

In between, there have been rumours that he rejected Jatt Ki Jugni and two different exhibits. “Kuch Dhaang Ka Tha Hi Nahi…Nothing excited me. I was getting mytho or fantasy shows. They involve hard work but as an actor you cannot improvise on them. Here, you can do that. I might do them in future but now I wanted something that did really excite me. When I read about the concept of the show, I made sure I gave it my best shot at the audition. I was lucky to grab it,” he says fortunately. This is additionally his first present with Drashti Dhami. People have already favored their chemistry. “She is a lovely co-star. No tantrums or anything of the sort. I feel honoured working with these guys. Aditi has done films too. It is a very passionate team,” he gushes. (Also Read: Drashti Dhami would like to do a undertaking like Veere Di Wedding with Sanaya Irani, Jennifer Winget and her)

Romantic exhibits are a enormous hit with the digital viewers as we are able to see on social media. “We will show as much as we can. For example, if the couple make up after a fight, there will be some romance. People do not enjoy shows sans romance. When they get intimate, it’s like thank god, yeh mil gayee. It is like a satisfaction ka dose (laughs out out). At the same time, if we overdo, it’s like what’s this nonsense, only chipka chipki 24×7,” he says. Earlier, we would have to meet up to have fun now we do it staying together,” he says. He admits that it is little odd to now deal with Neha as his spouse. “The whole concept of dharampatni sounds a little too bhaari,” he says (laughs).
